How long does delivery take?
Since august2007, we are working with a logistic supplier ADER Logistic. If the items in your order are in stock, they will be shipped as followed:
For France:
- 24h with Chronopost
For EEC countries:
- 48h to 96h with Chronopost
For non EEC countries:
- 5 to 21 days with Chronopost
If an item in your order is out of stock, an e-mail will be sent informing you of this and specifying the delivery times.
As a general rule, we do our utmost to ensure that the items offered on the site are in stock or available very quickly.
How are payments by cheque or bank transfer handled?
An order by cheque or bank transfer is handled upon receipt and validation by our bank. Delivery times are therefore extended accordingly.
If you are in a rush to receive your order, it is better to use our secure credit-card payment system managed by Crédit Mutuel.
What if item availability isn’t indicated?
All items presented are in stock except for those bearing the words “Temporarily out of stock” (see the following question). However, given the popularity of certain items, we can never ensure that two customers will not order the same item simultaneously. But we do our best to ensure that the information you see is accurate.
What does “Temporarily out of stock” mean?
When you see the words ”Temporarily out of stock,” this means that the item is non available and on order from the supplier. Delivery time is therefore somewhat longer for this item.
How are shipping costs calculated?
The customer’s share of the shipping costs is calculated according to the rates of the Colissimo express courier service and thoses of GLS transport and the weight of the items ordered. For France and some bordering countries, graduated rates are applied according to the total amount of the order.
For France, for example:
- if your order is less than €50, your share of the shipping cost is €9;
- if your order totals between €50 and €100, your shipping cost is €7;
- if your order is between €100 and €150, your shipping cost is €5;
- if your order is for more than €150, shipping is free.
I can no longer find a product that I had seen previously in your store!
This can happen for several reasons. First, we try to update our offers regularly and change our catalogue. Second, it may also happen that some items are so popular that we are temporarily out of stock. So as not to create excessively long delivery times, we remove this product from the catalogue when the restocking time is longer than three weeks. However, if you want to find out how long it will take for an item you would like to order, you can send us an e-mail using the contact page.
How can I order an item listed as “upon request”?
It’s very easy. Send us an e-mail with the item number and colour desired. After we consult our supplier, you will receive an e-mail with information on availability times. If you agree by return e-mail, the product will be put on line so that you can submit the order. This approach is intended to prevent unpleasant surprises with excessive delivery times for listed products that are not really in stock.
How often is the DONNA ANNA online store updated?
We are constantly on the lookout for new items and new brands to introduce to you. If you want to keep informed about new items, all you have to do is to sign up for our Newsletter in the Newsletter section.
How do you select the items for your catalogue?
We constantly stay abreast of the latest trends and new items in the specialised press, at industry shows and designer previews. It also happens that we choose a new product as the result of a suggestion from one of our customers. In fact, the “Contact” page is also for that!
Why are there so many foreign-made items and brands?
It’s just coincidence. The objective of the DONNA ANNA online store is to offer you unique, high-quality items that are not to be found everywhere. Today French products are widely distributed in decorating stores, and selling these same products on the Internet would not be of much interest to the consumer, since they can be seen and purchased in stores. However, featuring items from neighbouring or distant countries selected according to stringent quality and pricing criteria is an added value in and of itself.
Can I send a gift to someone through the DONNA ANNA site?
Yes, you can. When validating your order, you will have an opportunity to choose a delivery address that is different from the billing address. You will also be able to request that the item be gift-wrapped and can attach a personalised message, entering it in the window provided for that purpose. Don’t hesitate: it’s free! Anything else? We take care of everything; all you have to do is to wait for the “Thank you” from the happy recipient.
Why am I allowed to choose a quantity of only 1 to 9 pieces for a given item?
Because we decided on this option for technical reasons and simplicity of site development. But that does not mean you can only order up to 9 pieces of a given item. You can order the same item several times. For example, if you want to purchase a service of 12 plates, you can order 6 plates twice. On your order summary, you will see two lines referring to the same item, with the quantities selected.
What is the procedure for making a claim?

Is your online store secure?
Online sales are not to be taken lightly, and that is why this business is subject to strict regulations. The DONNA ANNA online store has signed an agreement with the Cybermut system of Crédit Mutuel so that we can provide the greatest guarantee in terms of bank transaction security. Remember, when you are about to enter your credit card number on a merchant’s site, a padlock security symbol should appear at the bottom of your screen, confirming that you are currently on a secure site on which you can make your payment in complete confidence.
